Serving God

Help Opportunities

We believe it’s important to have a new members’ class at every church. These classes are supposed to be designed to give you a greater understanding of the principles, scriptural and spiritual guidelines that a community follows. The lessons are being outlined progressively in order to help with your knowledge of our church, as well as of who The God is, what He teaches us and how you can praise His Name and Word.

Study the Bible

Our weekday and weekend gatherings take a lot of people to make them work, from ushers to greeters, youth and adult group leaders, our care ministry and everywhere in-between. If you call Hillside home, we ask that you join one of these teams and use the unique gifts that God has given you to help make these gatherings happen.

Theology Class

We believe God has called First Presbyterian Church of Cadillac to be a church that turns our hearts and our focus to local communities. We seek and are committed to building relationships and have intentional and strategic partnerships where we can work alongside the work God is already doing in our city.

Service

At First Presbyterian Church, there are many meaningful ways to serve and share your gifts. Whether it’s singing in the choir, ringing handbells, or volunteering with outreach events like the Blood Drive, Food Truck, or Women’s Lunch, there’s a place for everyone to get involved. From hands-on mission projects to behind-the-scenes support, each act of service strengthens our church family and extends Christ’s love to our community.
